Stanford Institutes of Medicine Summer Research Program- The Stanford Institutes of Medicine Summer Research Program (SIMR) is an eight-week opportunity for high school students from diverse backgrounds to engage in basic medical research alongside Stanford faculty, postdoctoral fellows, and researchers. The program aims to foster interest in biological sciences and medicine, provide insight into scientific research, and promote diversity among students and researchers in the sciences.

Scripps High School Research Program- Scripps Research’s High School Student Research Education Program exposes students to contemporary issues in biomedical research and provides hands-on laboratory experience and mentorship. It is committed to increasing the number of talented students who choose a career in the biological and chemical sciences, particularly first-generation college-bound students and students from groups that are underrepresented in science.

National Institute of Health Biomedical Research Internship- High School SIP provides an opportunity to spend a summer working at the NIH side-by-side with some of the leading scientists in the world, in an environment devoted exclusively to biomedical research. The NIH consists of the 240-bed Mark O. Hatfield Clinical Research Center and more than 1150 laboratories/research projects located on the main campus in Bethesda, MD, and in the surrounding area as well as in Baltimore and Frederick, MD; Research Triangle Park, NC; Hamilton, MT; Framingham, MA; and Phoenix, AZ.

Coriell Institute for Medical Research Program for Students- CIMR offers an exclusive opportunity to be a part of the day-to-day research activities in dynamic research and biobanking environments, and we offer the possibility to experience biobank operations. Students will spend time in the selected area and receive individualized instruction and direction from a group of expert mentors. The students may also have an opportunity to learn to operate and work closely with Coriell's state-of-the-art equipment and technology.

UCSF Student Research Program- The Summer Student Research Program offers talented high school and college students diverse biomedical research experiences, mentoring, workshops, and networking opportunities to stimulate interest in health sciences, boost professional skills, and enhance success in STEM careers.
